Salvatore Di Piazza (1977) teaches Philosophy of Language at the University of Palermo. He is also membre associé of GRAL (Groupe de recherche en Rhétorique et an Argumentation Linguistique) and collaborateur scientifique of Philixte (Centre de recherche en Études littéraires, philologiques et textuelles), both research centres of the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). He has worked on various topics, including the conjectural dimension in ancient philosophy and semiotics, the role of language in the context of organised crime, the notion of faith and belief between philosophy and religion and, more recently, the connection between language and power in the Nazi regime.
